What is Medical Massage?

Medical Massage is nearly always RESULT-ORIENTED and the treatment is specifically directed to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by, typically a Physician or an occupational Therapist. Our certified and highly-trained Medical Massage and Trigger-Point therapist may use a variety of modalities or procedures during your treatment, but will focus the Medical Massage treatment only on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis and prescription.

Please be aware, more than a few massage therapists claim to perform Medical Massage. But Medical Massage does not refer to any specific technique.  By definition, Medical Massage, as stated above, refers to therapy prescribed by a physician and the massage performed following the directives of that physician.
